Die-cut master experience sharing: solving the six magic weapons of die-cutting
Due to the long time and wear of the die-cutting machine, the chain of the tooth row is loose and elongated. During the die-cutting process, when the chain drags the tooth row outward, the chain cannot be straightened, and the paper with the sponge strip is pressed. The paper on the die-cutting plate is easily torn and eventually causes a loose plate.

Over-packaging in the die-cutting process of the carton, often encounters the problem of disperse, that is, the carton and the waste side are scattered and the paper-cutting process is not smooth, which is a problem that the operator is very troublesome. Some solutions have been summarized in actual production for your reference.

First, clear obstacles

The reason for the loose plate may be that there are small and hard-to-detect foreign objects on the paper path, especially when the newly-applied indentation mold has obstacles. In this case, special attention should be paid to check whether the indentation mold slot is smooth. With or without sharp corners and barbs, these small problems can affect the normal travel of the paper. The operator can use a sharp blade to flatten the edges of the indentation mold or sand it with sandpaper and apply scotch tape along the edges.

Second, increase the connection point

When designing the carton, the designer will set the connection point at the position of the corresponding carton, but usually, in order not to affect the appearance of the carton and facilitate the stripping (hand peeling), the connection point is designed less and also Smaller, if you encounter a problem with the plate during die cutting, the operator can add a connection point at the mouth of the carton and the dust-proof slap.

Third, choose the right sponge strip

If the sponge strip filled between the die cutters is too soft and cannot be bounced smoothly, it will also cause a loose copy. A sponge strip with moderate hardness should be selected.

Fourth, reduce stress

The setting of the plate loading pressure is especially important. When setting the pressure, it should be gradually increased from small to large, and the whole plate should not be thoroughly pressed at once, so that 80% to 90% of the printed parts can be pressed through, and other parts that can not be penetrated can be padded. Strip or tape paper. After the die-cutting machine is operated for several hours, the overall pressure should be reduced. After the die-cutting machine is operated for a period of time, the pressure will gradually increase as the oil temperature increases.

Five, paper humidification

If the water content of the paper is small and the paper is brittle, it is easy to cause die-cutting, especially for paper that has just been glazed. It is more prone to loosening when die-cutting. At this time, the finished product after glazing should be humidified. Handle, or die-cut overnight.

Sixth, troubleshooting equipment

We have encountered a fragmentation failure and have not solved the problem by adopting the above five measures. Later, the equipment maintenance personnel participated in the troubleshooting and debugging process, and found that the die-cutting machine has a loose chain of teeth, and after the chain is tightened, the loosening phenomenon can be solved. This is due to the long time and wear of the die-cutting machine. The chain of the tooth row is loose and elongated. During the die-cutting process, when the chain drags the tooth row outward, the chain can not be straightened, and the sponge rubber strips the paper. Pressed on the die-cutting plate, the paper is easily torn, eventually resulting in a loose plate.
